Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup brewed coffee (strong)
  • Ladyfingers (Savoiardi), about half a package
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cold heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until combined.
  2. Pour the brewed coffee into a shallow bowl. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of an 8×8 pan.
  3. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Add another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers on top, then cover with the remaining mascarpone cream.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight for best results. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
