  • 3 lb side of salmon (skin on)
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon crosswise into six equal portions and place skin side down in a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade and spread the remaining mixture over the salmon. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F) and brush grates with oil.
  5. Grill the salmon skin side down for about four minutes before carefully flipping it for an additional four minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Optional: Remove skin after grilling and brush with reserved marinade before serving.
