  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 flour tortillas (6-inch)
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and chop apples into small cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water; stir well.
  2. Cook mixture in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until apples are soft.
  3. Mix cornstarch with a touch of water until smooth and stir into the skillet to thicken; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut tortillas into triangles and spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; sprinkle over tortilla triangles on both sides.
