  2. Add diced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook for 1–2 minutes until onions soften.

  4. Pour in petite diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and ditalini pasta; bring to a boil and cook until pasta is al dente (about 8 minutes).
