Ingredients

  • Refrigerated crescent roll dough (1 tube)
  • Pumpkin puree (1/2 cup)
  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Maple syrup (1 tablespoon)
  • Pumpkin spice (1 teaspoon)
  • Melted butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a cutting board; cut in half to create two rectangles.
  4. Spread the pumpkin filling over one rectangle and place the other rectangle on top to sandwich the filling.
  5. Cut into strips about 3/4 inch wide, twist each strip twice, and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush melted butter over each twist and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Bake for 8–11 minutes or until golden brown.
