  • 175 g baking spread or unsalted butter
  • 175 g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 150 g self-raising flour
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 115 g full-fat cream cheese
  • 15 g icing sugar
  • 15 g Oreos (crushed)
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g butter (for buttercream)
  • 165 g icing sugar
  • 35 g cocoa powder
  • 12 tsp milk
  • 25 g butter (for green grass buttercream)
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • 35 g Oreos (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Biscuit Graves: Snap biscuits to create gravestones, dip in melted dark chocolate, and allow to set on baking paper.
  2. Preheat Oven: Set to 140°C Fan/160°C/325°F.
  3. Make the Cupcake Batter: Beat together baking spread and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and milk, then fold in flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  4. Bake: Fill cupcake cases with batter and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  5. Create Oreo Filling: Mix cream cheese, icing sugar, vanilla extract, and crushed Oreos until smooth.
  6. Fill Cupcakes: Core cooled cupcakes and fill with Oreo mixture.
  7. Make Buttercream: Combine softened butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder, and milk until smooth.
  8. Decorate: Pipe chocolate buttercream on cupcakes and insert biscuit gravestones; sprinkle crushed Oreos around to resemble soil.
