Instructions

  1. Unwrap each candy cane and place them in a zip-lock bag. Crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin or mallet.
  2. In a microwave-safe container, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently until smooth.
  3. Stir the peppermint essence into the melted white chocolate until well combined.
  4. Dip each crushed candy cane into the melted white chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off before placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle additional crushed candy cane pieces on top.
  6. Refrigerate for about one hour or until completely set.
