  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
  • 12 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups brewed coffee
  • About 3035 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a nonstick saucepan, combine milk and dark chocolate over medium-low heat until melted and smooth. Let cool to room temperature.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk mascarpone cheese, sugar, salt, and half of the cooled chocolate until combined. Fold in cold heavy cream until medium peaks form.
  3. Dip ladyfingers into brewed coffee briefly and layer them in a pan. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them.
  4. Pour half a cup of remaining chocolate over the layers and freeze for 10 minutes.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients and chill overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
