Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon slices for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, red apple vinegar, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over them and ensure they're well-coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2-4 hours).
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess.
  4. Arrange chicken in a baking dish and top each breast with crumbled feta.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the feta is golden.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for about 5 minutes before serving garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
