  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil (for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
  2. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and add cooking oil. Once hot, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add sliced beef to the pot; cook until browned on all sides (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil; pour over the beef.
  5. Seal the lid and set to pressure cook on high for 8 minutes. Allow natural release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
