  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well mixed.
  3. Add all-purpose flour to the mixture and stir until crumbly. Press two-thirds of this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Toss sliced apples with ground cinnamon and nutmeg in a separate bowl, then spread evenly over the crust.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender.
