  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and strawberry jam until smooth.
  6. Take small portions of dough, flatten them slightly in your palm, add about one teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center, and seal the dough around it.
  7. Bake on the prepared baking sheet for about 12–15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack before glazing with powdered sugar glaze.
