  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt (to taste)
  • fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
  • red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, chopped artichokes, shredded parmesan cheese, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it in half.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over one half of the pastry and place the other half on top.
  5. Cut into strips and gently twist each strip into swirls.
  6. Brush with an egg wash (beaten egg mixed with water) for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden brown.
