Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb twisted pasta (fusilli or your favorite type)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Add the cubed chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning. Cook until golden brown, around 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Gradually pour in heavy cream and chicken broth while stirring continuously until it reaches a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted smoothly into the sauce. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with any reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency. Mix in remaining Italian seasoning.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing well to coat evenly with the sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
